Wheelchair & Equipment Technician Career Opportunity

GENERAL

To plan and carry out assembling equipment and many other equipment-related activities including maintaining a tidy warehouse and helping with inwards/outwards goods. Responsible and accountable for ensuring customer satisfaction with a focus on quality and service delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical assistance and support for our product portfolio in our healthcare network with our rehab positioning equipment for young children to geriatrics.
  • Assembling wheelchairs and other disability equipment ready for customers.
  • Maintenance and repairs of equipment.
  • Warehouse responsibilities and managing a tidy and organised warehouse.
  • Inwards/outwards goods responsibilities
  • Other supply chain-related duties as directed
REQUIREMENTS KEY COMPETENCIES WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
  • Proven technical skills.

  • Flexibility and preparedness to travel.
  • Ability to be hands-on with clients with disabilities involving setting-up and adjusting equipment.
  • Responsibility for ensuring stock traceability.
  • Leadership qualities to continuously improve operational efficiencies
  • Execute on current projects involving set up of equipment configuration plant/service centre to a high standard.
  • Accountability for all actions and meeting company goals.
  • Well organised, accurate and methodical.

  • Verbal and written communication to internal staff and external customers.
