Change Summary The battery on the powered Multistander Size 2 has been improved. This results in:

  • A warning when battery capacity is low.
  • The stander will remain or return to a horizontal position when the battery level reaches 20%.

All Jenx Waistcoats have been redesigned. This results in:

  • Wipe-clean PU fabric
  • An extra level of infection control.

Manufacturing of the Foot Supports on the Supine Stander Size 2 are upgraded. This results in:

  •  Flip-up/angle adjustment, replacing the standard fixed foot support.
  • Retrofitted to the existing stander.

Jenx Atom Arm Supports are now produced with new material. This results in:

  • Grey plastic, removing previous paint chipping issues.

 

Technical Bulletin Details:

Jenx Ltd. has provided details on recent product and accessory changes to some of our Jenx product range to improve performance and durability.

Jenx Multistander Size 2

Features listed below with the now improved battery handset on the powered Multistander Size 2 :

  • A warning when battery capacity is low.
  • The stander will remain or return to a horizontal position when the battery level reaches 20%.
  • 4 LED battery level indicators
  • Lithium battery means a longer lifespan
  • Higher number of cycles per change
  • In-built charger that only requires a cable
  • The battery is protected and if it gets too hot it will cut out for safety reasons.
  • The new battery handset can be retrofitted to existing products.

The control box on the powered Multistanders has also been upgraded so it can run without battery (with mains cable), this means that if the battery had been depleted or was faulty the mains cable will power the stander.

Jenx PU Waistcoats Grey

Addition of a wipe-clean PU, Waistcoat Harness now offers an extra level of infection control.

Jenx Supine Stander Size 2 (Foot Support Plate)

New flip-up/angle adjustable foot support to replace the standard fixed supports. This change was also applied to Supine Stander size 1 in December 2019. The angle-adjustable foot support can be retrofitted to the existing Supine Stander size 2.

Jenx Atom Indoor Seating Frame

All arms supports for the Jenx Atom Indoor Seating Frame are now made with grey plastic, removing previous issues where the paint was chipping away after use.
