State-of-the art technology is used for components and SWITCH-IT drive controls are designed to work with the majority of power wheelchairs in a plug and play fashion, so setting up for wheelchair driving is quick and easy.
Our SWITCH-IT range includes:
- Joysticks

- Deflection-based technology offers physical joystick throw for users who prefer the feedback from movement.
- Metal construction offers a significant durability advantage.
- The MicroGuide is ideal for clients who require the sensitivity of a light-touch drive control as well as the feedback of joystick displacement.
VersaGuide
Compact proportional control
The VersaGuide is a fully proportional and durable compact joystick that can be mounted virtually anywhere. Its unlimited mounting options are what give the versatile VersaGuide its name.
- The VersaGuide provides for proportional control (forward, reverse, left, and right)
- It has two built-in connections for mode and on/off on the underside of the joystick, called SmartJacks, which are unique to the VersaGuide.
- The SmartJack sensor input will automatically adapt to both proximity and mechanical switches.
VersaGuide EZ
Light-touch compact proportional control
The VersaGuide EZ offers a lighter force and shorter throw for users with difficulty reaching maximum movement for full proportional control.
- The VersaGuide EZ provides for proportional control (forward, reverse, left, and right).
- It can be mounted virtually anywhere.
- It provides two built-in connections for mode and on/off on the underside of the joystick.
- The SmartJack sensor input will automatically adapt to both proximity and mechanical switches.

Dual Pro
Truly proportional head array for intuitive driving
For the most precise control through a head array, the SWITCH-IT Dual Pro® offers full proportional control the likes of which has never been available before. The Dual Pro is a truly proportional head array with fine-tuned adjustments and configurability to provide the user an easy-to-learn, precise, and intuitive driving experience.
Switched Head Arrays
Switched Head Control
Switch-It traditional switched head arrays use zero-touch proximity sensors which are specifically designed for power wheelchair application and are less susceptible to interference from high electromagnetic fields generated by power wheelchairs.
The HDR-4M2 is a 3-switch head array with two ⅛” monojack ports for a dedicated external mode switch to provide the 4th and 5th functions as desired. HDR-5 is a 5-switch head array with a dedicated sensor for reverse (choose -RL for reverse on left wing or -RR for reverse on right wing) and a dedicated sensor for mode in the opposite wing. A dipswitch panel on the back of the head array gives the ability to turn the sensor on or off.
