Chey has been a qualified Occupational Therapist since 2013 and has utilised his expertise in a number of different environments, including concussion and TBI, forensic mental health, and with the Kaupapa Māori Child and Adolescent Mental Health team.
He has a Bachelor of Health Science and is part of the Auckland University of Technology’s Occupational Therapy Committee, supporting the university to shape its new curriculums. He also plays a key role in our own internal education systems, helping to upskill our team by sharing his product knowledge and clinical insights.
Of course, he still spends the bulk of his time working alongside clients and their therapists, and he is incredibly proud of the life-changing impact that work can have. He loves the fact he can stay connected and develop meaningful connections with the families he meets, watching his clients grow and thrive over the course of weeks, months and years.
