Joystick Accessories
SpaceDisk Hand Tray
The SpaceDisk allows for armrest or midline mounting as well as providing hand support for the user. It also provides protection of the joystick by encasing the body of the drive control while still allowing full access to driving. It pivots on a ball joint 360° for maximum placement adjustability placement. Fiber optic switches for mode can be mounted into the SpaceDisk, ideal for those with very limited hand movement.
Armrest and Midline Mount with MicroGuide
The MicroGuide may also be used without the SpaceDisk hand tray and placed at the armrest or midline position. Active Controls Mounting System for MicroGuide is also available.
Armrest and Midline Mount with VersaGuide
The VersaGuide easily mounts off the armrest or in the midline position. The SpaceDisk hand tray can be modified to fit the VersaGuide and VersaGuide EZ. Active Controls Mounting System for VersaGuide and VersaGuide EZ is also available.
Flex Switches for VersaGuide and VersaGuide EZ
Zero-touch proximity sensors mounted in a flexible gooseneck are available for use with the VersaGuide and plug directly into the SmarkJacks located on the underside of the VersaGuide and VersaGuide EZ.
BDN3 Chin/Mouth Control Mount
The BDN3 is a mounting platform for wheelchair controllers which goes around a user's neck and gives them the ability to use their chin, lips, or tongue to control their powered wheelchair. It can be used with the MicroGuide, VersaGuide and VersaGuide EZ and is is simple to remove for ease of transfers. The mounting position moves with the user so is not dependent on the user's position in relation to the wheelchair. Comes with a comfortable foam neck pad and available in two sizes: 6" wide and 8" wide.
Swing-Away Chin Boom
The Swing-Away Chin Boom is a long L-shaped rod with a clamp to mount the MicroGuide, VersaGuide or VersaGuide EZ. The chin boom mounts to the back of the headrest. This setup provides the user with chin or mouth control without wearing a harness, and provides for easy transferring of the user.
Head Controls
Switch-It’s proximity head arrays offer comfortable covers and soft foam padding preferred by many users. Any of our head arrays can be combined with all of the Whitmyer head positioning accessories to provide the most comprehensive head control setup in the industry.

Dual Pro
Truly proportional head array for intuitive driving

For the most precise control through a head array, the SWITCH-IT Dual Pro® offers full proportional control the likes of which has never been available before. The Dual Pro is a truly proportional head array with fine-tuned adjustments and configurability to provide the user an easy-to-learn, precise, and intuitive driving experience.
Switched Head Arrays
Switched Head Control
Switch-It traditional switched head arrays use zero-touch proximity sensors which are specifically designed for power wheelchair application and are less susceptible to interference from high electromagnetic fields generated by power wheelchairs.
The HDR-4M2 is a 3-switch head array with two ⅛” monojack ports for a dedicated external mode switch to provide the 4th and 5th functions as desired. HDR-5 is a 5-switch head array with a dedicated sensor for reverse (choose -RL for reverse on left wing or -RR for reverse on right wing) and a dedicated sensor for mode in the opposite wing. A dipswitch panel on the back of the head array gives the ability to turn the sensor on or off.
Vigo
Empowering independence with subtle movements
The SWITCH-IT Vigo Head Control is a wireless proportional head control that allows drivers to effortlessly navigate their power wheelchairs and other devices using intuitive head movements. With 14 hours of battery life, you can drive all day and charge overnight!
Dual Pro Benefits
Highly Configurable and Easy-to-Learn
The Dual Pro's sensitivity and the force required to activate the head array can be configured and adjusted to each end user's strengths and capabilities. The left and right pad can be individually adjusted, allowing for smooth driving for users who have varying levels of head control on their left and right sides.
On-Board Programming
The Dual Pro can be programmed conveniently from the back pad of the head array. This allows dealers and clinicians convenient access to programming functions during setup and while making in-field adjustments, with the user in the wheelchair.
Truly Proportional Control for Superior Drivability
The Dual Pro is a truly proportional drive control. This means that, like a gas pedal and steering wheel, the Dual Pro offers a full range of acceleration and deceleration, 360° turning range, and veering control for superior drivability.
Switched Control, Proportional Control, or Both
The Dual Pro can be programmed to behave as a switched control, which operates based on the distance of the head from the sensor, or as a proportional control, which operates based on the force or pressure applied to the sensor.
Switched Head Arrays Benefits
Lateral Pads
The switched head arrays may be configured with the following lateral pad combinations: S-S: Short, straight wings, S-C: Short, curved wings, L-S: Long, straight wings, L-C: Long, curved wings. The 5-switch head array is only available with long, straight wings due to sensor placement and activation area tolerances.
Mode Switches
Several mode switch types and mounting options are offered for use with the switched head arrays. The Egg Switch, MicroLite, and Piko may be mounted on a rigid swing-away rod (12" long). A fiber optic switch mounted in a flexible gooseneck is another option.
Vigo Benefits
Utilizes your head motion
Allows riders to utilize their full range of head motion (however restricted this may be) to drive their power wheelchair and control their computer. It's as easy as tilting your head. Features include emergency stops, algorithms to detect unusual control inputs, and Bluetooth headset functionality for phone calls. This one device can fulfill many roles, making it a game-changer in the field of assistive technology.
Wireless Connection
A lightweight headpiece with a sleek design that connects to the headset's control device wirelessly. The driver has an unobstructed field of view and friends can make eye contact and see facial expressions. The Vigo is an option for drivers who would normally utilize a head array, sip-n-puff, chin control, or other alternative drive controls.
Personalized driving experience
With desktop and mobile apps, the driving experience can be easily personalized down to the smallest details. Each head movement control can be configured independently to suit the driver's range of motion. Adjustments to the range of head movements can be made using sliders in the app, making it a versatile solution that can adapt to changing needs over time.
Power seating functions
Vigo not only allows the driver to change positions easily, but the position of the headset is maintained when switching between seating functions and driving. Lift, tilt, and recline with your head movement - no need to reach the joystick.
Perfectly positioned
Head controls that are attached to the chair require the rider's head to be always positioned within the head control in order to be able to operate it effectively. Since the Vigo is positioned on the driver's head, the ability to operate the Vigo is optimal and maintained even during transfers. The Vigo headset connects via Bluetooth, so there aren't any wires to get in the way.
What is included with the Vigo?
Vigo headset, Headrest sensor, Cubo (digital display), Link (interface between wheelchair), Bluetooth dongle, Charging cable
