Drop Mount Hardware

Easy drop-in hardware option for active and lightweight back supports.

The lightweight Drop Mount hardware is simple to operate with a single combined clamp and mechanism unit. The release mechanism is simple to operate, and suitable for single-handed use, and those with limited hand function. The hardware gives plenty of adjustability and rigidity and can be used on a wide range of wheelchair frames.

Please note: The Drop Mount features a different toggle variant for certain markets, including the UK and Europe.

Compatibility With Different Wheelchairs

The Drop Mount Hardware has been designed to be compatible with an extensive range of wheelchair frames. The clamp can attach to tubes of many different sizes – from 19mm oval tubes to 32mm round tubes.

Lightweight + Durable

Developed using a composite material the Drop Mount Hardware is lightweight (600-800g) without compromising on durability.

Multiple Bracket Sizes

Available in four sizes, ensures the visual footprint of the hardware is paired perfectly to the back support size. The hardware fits 10” to 20” wide backs which are between 7” to 18” tall.

Wide Range of Angle Adjustment

30° of forwards and 30° rearwards angle adjustment with 60° total angle adjustment available in the bracket.

Width and Depth Adjustable

Within the Drop Mount bracket there is wide range of width and depth adjustment to fit the back support on different size wheelchairs and to adjust the seat depth on the wheelchair. These adjustments differ between the sizes of hardware (refer to specifications).

Vertical Drop-in and Lift-out Motion

From installation through to adjustment the Drop Mount Hardware has been designed to be easily adjustable, easy to use, and easy to remove. Suited to those with limited hand function, the easy ‘drop-in’ installation is made possible by the lightweight quick-release mechanism.
