Functional benefits
Stable pelvic position for symmetrical posture
Robust lateral control in supine standing can be gained by using the side supports combined with the straps. This gives better proprioceptive feedback. With hips supported in as much extension as appropriate for the user and the lateral supports used to gain symmetry of the hips and trunk, you can gain a developmentally sound standing position that will help the user achieve the vital component of standing as well as sitting.
Individually tailored knee position
For users who have a degree of spasticity and whose hips internally rotate, it is important not only to support their hips to control leg position but also to control their knees. Derotational knee support straps allow for individual tailoring to suit the user’s knees.
Sturdy trunk support control pads
For the user who is unable to adopt an upright trunk for themselves, lateral supports and derotational straps are available to offer that extra support. Comes with an integral derotational strap to support and control the user’s trunk. Lateral supports can be adjusted for height and distance from each other so users of differing heights and width can all enjoy the same level of support.
Adjustable Head Positioning
Upgrade to a Multigrip headrest with individual fingers that can be adjusted to cushion, support and control almost any head position.
Smooth and Simple angle adjustment
Support surface adjusts from horizontal through to 80°. Infinite adjustment so it can be set to exactly the right angle for the individual child. This means progress can be monitored and the angle of the board altered in line with changes in ability.
The angle can be adjusted with the child in the standing frame and is easily set using the angle gauge on the frame. The frame is power assisted on the size 2 & 3 frames causing less strain for carers. For size 3, numbered boards mean that set-ups can easily be recorded and recreated, ideal in a multi-user environment.
Innovative thoracic and pelvic straps
Close in the centre and are adjusted at each end for length so that you can ensure the child is positioned symmetrically – helping to keep them upright and comfortable and maximising the benefits of standing.
Buckles and Velcro mean that once adjusted correctly the straps can be fixed making it difficult for siblings or classmates to tamper with and keeping everything looking neat and tidy!
Angle Adjustment
Support surface angle can be adjusted from horizontal through to upright 90 degrees. Infinite adjustment so the exact angle required by the individual can be set, progress monitored and the angle re-assessed and adapted in line with progress.

The Jenx Multigrip headrest is available in three sizes for a number of Jenx seating and standing systems. All have a choice of various highly flexible fixing brackets dependent on the product it is used with, all of which give adjustment for height, depth, and angle.
