Contoured seating with memory foam seat pad, independently adjustable lumbar/sacral support and a 4 point lap strap all provided as standard make the Jenx Junior+ outstanding when it comes to pelvic control. Plus if you find this isn’t enough, the optional ischial bar will help prevent low tone or very active children from slipping into sacral sitting.

In addition the 4 point lap strap (included as standard) can provide a 45 degree pull which helps to ensure pelvic postural stability and prevent the child slipping either forwards into sacral sitting or sideways when pelvic obliquity will result.

Our head position has a number of important influences on our overall posture and function. Appropriate head support in both sitting and standing is vitally important to the social, emotional, intellectual and physical outcomes of activities.

Ideal head positioning depends not only on the intimate cradling or support but also on the ability to bring that support to the correct place. The Jenx Junior has a range of head support options to ensure this.

For those who are unable to hold their head up when feeding, the Jenx Multigrip™ head support can be used to support the chin and make feeding easier and more enjoyable.

Trunk position is just as important as hip, knee, feet or head positioning. Failure to support a child’s trunk appropriately may lead to the spine of those children with spasticity or poor muscle strength being pulled into a curve or scoliosis. This in time will reduce their ability to breath properly and may lead to other health problems.

Trunk supports on the Jenx Junior+ are adjustable for height and width and in long or short styles. Trunk support should be addressed once the child has a stable base in sitting and any necessary hip support in position. Trunk support will then aid the child to maintain an upright posture with the benefits of comfort, function and freedom to breathe that a well supported trunk position offers.

Included as standard for hip support with easy, flip-away action for leg support. All pads are made from super-soft PU – fully flexible, easy to clean and impervious to fluids, making them hygienic and robust.

To ensure the fit is exactly right for each child, the seat depth is fully adjustable. This is a tool free, quick and easy to access adjustment.

To accommodate or encourage dorsi or plantar flexion. Adjusts quickly and simply with the turn of a button, flips up for safe and easy standing transfers with the footplate held out of the way with a concealed magnet. Now with easy fit slots making attaching sandals and other foot support options a breeze.

Use two or four; these unique leg control pads allow you to control leg position independently of pelvic position, creating abduction or adduction or controlling wind-sweeping. Simple to adjust, they flip completely out of the way for smooth, safe, dignified and unobstructed transfers.

There are three colour options for the removable covers - Lime, Red, and Blue. Fits nicely into the home or school environment.

The adjustable push-handle comes as standard in the Jenx Junior+ package. It makes moving the equipment safer and easier for carers, flips away in seconds when not in use, is height adjustable and has a padded foam handle.

All Jenx Junior+ packages include armrests as standard. The armrests are independently adjustable for height and angle and clear markings make them easy to set to the correct height. Padded armrest covers are available if needed.

All Jenx Junior+ packages include a spacious tray, providing a useful surface for work, feeding or play. The Jenx tray is made from antibacterial plastic providing a hygienic and easy to clean surface. A contrasting tray edging gives a definitive boundary useful for users with visual impairments.
