The Rigid Mount for manual wheelchairs contains:
- Tube Connector 90° Elbow (Main Component)
- Frame Clamp: Frame Clamp Inner Piece 1″ Round. (Refer to Spare Parts for other frame clamp options. Requires full access to the round tube)
- S-Bend Tube: Standard S-Bend Tube 22″ length x 3″ offset (Refer to Spare Parts for other S-Bend Tube sizes or custom tubes)

Daessy S-Bend Tubes
he S-Bend Tube is a length of stainless-steel tube with closely placed bends that produce an offset between the ends of the tube. This is used with the Rigid Mount and the Folding Mount to set the vertical height and front-to-back horizontal position of the Horizontal Tube and attached device or laptop. It can also be used to set the sideways position of the connection between the Side Tube and Horizontal Tube when there are obstructions on the wheelchair that the mount has to pass
around. The 7/8″ Stainless Steel tube is available in a standard lengths and shapes. All tube-ends are machined to remove sharp edges. The ends of the stainlesssteel tube provided by Daedalus Technologies, Inc. are fully machined and chamfered to minimize sharp edges. We strongly disapprove of the tube being cut to length by purchasers. Cutting the stainless-steel tube by any method produces very sharp and hazardous edges.

The Frame Clamp Outer Piece is connected to the Frame Clamp Inner Piece with a Swivel Clamp. The Swivel clamp bolts are accessed through the long axial hole in the UFCOP. This is not recommended for Wheelchairs with Tilting Function.

Index Clamp
This component is attached to the lower end of the vertical tube of the mount and connects with the Basic Frame Clamp Outer Piece UFCOP attached to the wheelchair by docking with the raised pin on the UFCOP.

The RFCR is used with the ROP or RFCI. This is recommended primarily on wheelchairs with a tilting seat system. It provides the receiver for the mount assembly and locking mechanism to secure the mount in place.

Removable Outer Piece Connector
The ROP is used with the RFCR. The ROP is installed onto the vertical tube of the mount assembly and provides positioning and height adjustment. It allows the mount assembly to be attached to any location when the RFCR is installed.
